Ronald Lee Simpson
Ronald Lee Simpson, age 83, of 4813 Nicelytown Road, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Friday, April 12, 2024 at his residence.
He was born on April 18, 1940 in Henry County, Virginia to the late George Oakley Simpson, Sr. and Annie Lee Sours Simpson. He was a Film Supervisor for Hercules, Inc., served in the National Guard, and also worked in the golf operations department of The Homestead. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, fishing, and hunting. He was a member of the Cliftondale Country Club and the Highlander Hunt Club, and the Clifton Forge Elks Lodge.

rother, George Oakley Simpson, Jr. and two sisters, Carolyn Buckner and Patsy Peters.
He is survived by his wife, Dreama Nicely Simpson of Clifton Forge; two daughters, Paige Puckett (Ray) of Daleville and Heather Simpson of Cloverdale; a son, Ronald Keith Simpson (Jeannie) of Clifton Forge; a brother, Charles Wayne Simpson (Catherine) of Selma; a brother-in-law, Joe Peters; five grandchildren, Andrew Puckett, Adam Puckett (Lindsey), Kelcy Walton, Molly Walton (fiancée, Andrew), and Sarah Walton; two step grandchildren, Crissy Lowe (Kevin), and Ron Hosey (Lindsey); four step great grandchildren, Brooks Lowe, Reid Lowe, Ava Hosey, and Graham Hosey; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at 2:30 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Vincent Hartford and Reverend Doug Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery, Clifton Forge. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.
