Cast your vote for the Virginian Review Alleghany & Bath Co. Diamond Players of the Week (April 1-6)

Please vote for the Virginian Review Alleghany and Bath County Diamond Players of the Week for the week of April 1-6. Two boys and two girls from the area’s 4 teams (Alleghany baseball, Alleghany softball, Bath Co. baseball, and Bath Co. softball) are nominated and combined together in one poll. We will take the top vote getters and announce the winners from each school on Monday nights (time may vary week-to-week). Again, there will be a winner from each school. Voting closes Monday, April 8, 2024 at 4:00 PM.

NOTE**-Crazy weather everywhere plus no baseball or softball games for Bath County last week, but they will be back in action this week.

NOMINEES:

Chris Harden (A)- 3-3, double, 3 runs, and 2 RBIs in a 12-0 win over James River, Alleghany’s only game last week.

Hunter DePriest (A)- 1-3, double, 3 RBIs in win over James River.

Laken Cantrell (A)- 2-5 with 3 runs and an RBI in the Lady cougars only game, an 11-8 victory over James River.

Kaylee Nicely (A)- 2-5, HR, 2 runs, 5 total bases, and 4 RBIs in the James River win.
