LOW MOOR- The Alleghany Cougars baseball team trailed just 3-2 heading into the top of the fifth inning in their game with the Patrick County Cougars on Tuesday, April 9.

However, a 4-run fifth for Patrick County extended their lead to 7-2 and the opponent Cougars held off a comeback attempt from Alleghany as the home team lost 7-4.

Alleghany was plagued by four errors on the evening.
