Danny Leroy Wolfe
Danny Leroy Wolfe, of New Castle, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home with his family on March 3, 2024, at the age of 75.
Danny was born February 4, 1949, in Covington, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Wolfe, and mother, Juanita “Sis” Wolfe. Danny is survived by the “love of his life” of 39 years, Betty Wolfe, his four children, Donna [Russell] Fisher, Henry [Rachel] Wolfe, Elaina [Chad] Wolfe-Carper, and Brandon Wolfe [Sara Campbell], and four cherished grandchildren, Kaylyn Walton, Jacklyn Walton, Alexander “Lex” Wolfe, and Genevieve Carper. He is also survived by his younger sister, Sherry [Faron] Stull, beloved nephews, Dusty Stull and Christopher Stull, and special friend and “brother,” Charlie Jamison.
Danny was a graduate of Alleghany High School, class of 1967. His career as a logger was a testament to his unwavering work ethic and dedication, with Danny taking great pride in a job well done and in his continued work up to his last weeks. Above all though, Danny prioritized caring for his family, ensuring they were supported and surrounded by love. His playful spirit and sense of humor, especially with his grandchildren, created a home filled with laughter and happiness. Danny’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Arrangements will be made by Paitsel Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 4:00-6:00 PM on Thursday, March 7, at the New Castle Christian Church, with a service by Bill Frazier to follow at 6:00 p.m.
