The Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce & Tourism will sponsor a “Meet & Greet the Candidates” for Virginia Senate District 3 on Wednesday, September 20th beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Alleghany Highlands Industrial Heritage & Technology Discovery Center located at 227 N. Maple Avenue in Covington. The public is encouraged to attend.
The event is being held in an effort to encourage citizens to become more involved in local government by learning about the issues and positions of each candidate.
Candidates include:
Meet Jade Harris (Democratic Candidate) 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Meet Delegate Christopher Head (Republican Candidate) 6:45 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.
