NARROWS, VA – On the Thursday, the Bath County Chargers (5-3-1) won for the fifth time in their last seven matches following an 8-0 shutout win over the Narrows Green Wave.
After coming off of a six-goal performance in the win over Craig County, Kamoy Stone put together another dominant performance on the soccer field with four goals for the Chargers. Four other Chargers had one goal each. Andrew Turner had a game-high three assists.
While Stone put together another big offensive display, the Chargers defense were also dominate. The defense held the Green Waves to just one shot on net. Goalkeeper Frankie DeBoe recorded the save and also earned a shutout victory. Isaac Gwin led all with five steals, while Stone had four.
The Chargers hosted the Covington Cougars in their last ever meeting on Monday.
