HOT SPRINGS -Two weeks ago Bath County High School was set for one week off from spring sport as the school was on spring break.
While some spring sports returned to in-game competition, the varsity boys soccer program did not.
Both of the boy’s soccer games this week against Narrows and Alleghany were postponed and have not yet been determined on a makeup date,
The last time the boys soccer program was on the field for in-game competition was on March 27th when they fell to Eastern Montgomery 5-1.
Bath County (2-3) has managed to avoid numerous postponed matches unlike some of the other Charger programs and have had five games thus far.
This week will be a busy one for this Chargers team as they are scheduled (weather permitting) for three games.
BCHS hosts Stuarts Draft on Tuesday and Eastern Montgomery on Thursday, while playing on the road against Craig County on Friday.
Through their first five games, senior Andrew Turner leads the team with nine goals.
