To complement the annual Farmers Day event in Union, WV the Sweet Springs Park will be hosting a DAY AND NIGHT Paranormal Experience for the public (MUST BE 18 yrs old for paranormal events). There will be:
** Self Guided Photography Tours 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM $25.00 per person (great deal for this kind of event) with sign in and check out.
** A History & Haunts Flashlight Tour and of the old hotel with Ashby Berkley from 2:00 PM – 3:00 pm
and partial self guided tour of the other historic buildings on the property 3:00 pm through evening. Mr. Berkley will be on the grounds throughout the day
The Tour(both) $15.00 per person – children under 12 free
** Games for children and adults here on the hotel grounds (outdoor games) FREE ** Croquet, baseballs, and other outdoor amusement. Children can bring their own games & toys.
** Pro-roam Paranormal Investigation (free roam -self led) will need your own equipment & flashlight. MUST BE 18 yrs old
4:00 pm – 7:00 pm ($45.00 per person (another great deal for this kind of event)
** And the final event – a night time guided Paranormal Investigation of the Sanitarium from 7pm-12am.
You do not have to be professional, if you have equipment feel free to bring it. The Sanitarium has been featured on the Travel Channel in shows such as “Destination Fear” and was featured as the grand finale evidence reveal of the 2021 World’s Largest Ghost Hunt in Las Vegas Nevada. The World’s Largest Ghost Hunt was a live investigation featuring locations all over the world. Sweet Springs Sanitarium was featured alongside Dracula’s Castle, The Conjuring House, and more. JULY 14-18 – The Sweet Springs Institute brings you the 3rd Annual Sustainability Forum, on the grounds of the Sweet Springs Park. The Forum is an event you don’t want to miss out on. There will be demonstrations of easy to do sustainable projects, special guest speakers on several subjects pertaining to Tourism, Sustainability, edible & medicinal plants, native plantlife, making your own bio-energy, and much more.
