On Saturday afternoon, the Richmond Spiders lost their big CAA home football game to the James Madison Dukes, 19-3. Covington High School graduate and current Spiders linebacker/captain, Tyler Dressler finished the game with the game with seven tackles (two solo, five assisted).
The Spiders dropped to 2-4 overall on the season, while the loss was the teams fourth in a row.
“One positive I take out of the it (the game), when I look at my guys on defense, not a single one quit. We were getting after them until the last whistle. That is something I am really proud about my guys in terms of the defense”, said Dressler on the defensive performance from the Spiders against JMU this past Saturday.
In Thursday’s edition, read all about my interview with Dressler on the teams performance against JMU as well as the Spiders up coming game against Stony Brook this weekend.
