HOT SPRINGS. – The 2023-24 Bath County JV girls basketball season came to an end on Wednesday in Pocahontas County, W.Va.
The Chargers split their final two games of the regular season last week with a win over Parry McCluer and a loss to Pocahontas County.
In their final home game of the season on Tuesday, Bath County blew out Parry McCluer 45-21 in Hot Springs.
Trinity Forbes dropped a game-high 26 points in the win over the Fighting Blues, while Zoey Jenkins added 13.
On Wednesday at Pocahontas County, W.Va., the Chargers lost a close 51-46 contest to Warriors.
In the loss BCHS had two scoring in double figures; Jenkins scored a team-high 14 points, while Sophie Ailstock had 10.
The Chargers ended their season 7-10 overall and finished 5-2 in district play.
