Dear Editor,
It was with great interest I read the letter to you from my good friend Bill Wilson, outlining his opinion about who to vote for in the presidential election and why you should not vote for Donald Trump.
Most, if not all, the reasons Bill gave were I saw, I heard or I read. With my friend Bill being an attorney, he knows these reasons would not be allowed as evidence in a court of law, so I thought I would help my friend with some hard facts.
I hope this helps.
If you don’t want a Veterans Affairs Department that has an above 90 percent rating from our veterans, allows veterans to get the best health care available, including seeing a private doctor, then don’t vote for Trump.
If you don’t want a strong military with the best equipment and weapons necessary to keep the USA safe, then don’t vote for Trump.
If you would like to see ISIS grow back to its former strength or don’t want to kill the terrorists that are killing our military people, then don’t vote for Trump.
If you don’t want strong international borders and do want open borders that allow drugs, terrorists and illegal aliens to come in the USA unrestricted, then don’t vote for Trump.
If you don’t want the best economy with the lowest unemployment of all minority races ever, then for goodness sakes don’t vote for Trump.
If you don’t want judges appointed to our court system that believe in what the Constitution says and want judges that like to insert their personal opinions in their legal rulings, then don’t vote for Trump.
If you don’t want lower drug prices because of an Executive Order for favorable nation status, don’t vote for Trump.
If you don’t want to see agreements reached between Israel and their Muslim neighbors or the capitol of Israel moved to Jerusalem, don’t vote for Trump.
If you believe it is OK to kill babies after they are born, then don’t vote for Trump.
If you want to live in a socialist country and believe in the distribution of walth and mandatory socialist health care, then don’t vote for Trump.
If you want more riots, looting or destroying private property and want to do away with our police officers, then don’t vote for Trump.
If you believe the Second Amendment doesn’t give you the right to own a firearm to defend you, your family and your home, then don’t vote for Trump.
If you don’t want the USA to be oil independent for the first time and like $5.00 a gallon gas, then don’t vote for Trump.
If you want a politician who promises something when running for office and then doesn’t follow through with those promises once elected, then don’t vote for Trump.
Like my good friend Bill, I hope this helps people decide whom they want for our next president. I think you should vote for the person based on their ideas and past performance or lack of, not whether they are Republican or Democrat.
Heck, I even voted for my good friend Bill when he ran for office.
Bill, on the other hand, I feel would vote for a Democratic candidate even if you could see their horns sticking out from their hat and the pointed tail showing out of the back of their coat.
Thank you,
