Albert Bowen

Albert Roy Edward Bowen, 72, of 104 Walton Church Lane in Clifton Forge, died, Thursday, November 12, 2020, at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem.
Mr. Bowen was born July 20, 1948, in Clifton Forge a son of the late Charles and Bessie Campbell Bowen.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ricky Bowen and Gary Bowen.
He was an employee of the former Lear Corp in Covington and had worked as a security guard for the Omni Homestead. He also retired from Bacova Guild and was a driver for the Hallcon Company transporting Engineers and Conductors.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Riddle Bowen, of Clifton Forge;  one Brother, Steve Bowen and his Wife, Barbara,  of Parkville, MD; three Sisters-in-law, Christine Gammon, Sue Lindsey and Donna Simmons; two Brothers-in-law, Michael Taggart and Raymond Taggart Jr.; several nieces and nephews and special friends Lil T (Tina), Melissa, Joan, and Libby.
In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
