Bradley Charles White went to be with his Lord on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati Ohio. He was born on October 4, 1966 and was the youngest of 5 children of the late Rev. Boyd Charles White and June White Mansfield. Bradley was baptized as a child at the First Baptist Church of Buchanan, Buchanan, VA. .
He graduated in 1984 from Alleghany High School in Low Moor, VA. A couple of years after high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served 21 years until he retired with the rank of Master Sergeant in 2009. After the air force, Bradley worked for the Cincinnati Veterans Hospital as a policeman until 2013. From 2013 to 2017 he worked as a policeman for the Veterans Hospital in Dayton. In 2021 he was so happy to be named the EEO Director of Wright Patt Air Force base. Brad was involved in an accident where his leg was broken, and he was incapacitated for several months. Upon returning to work he became ill in July 2021.
Bradley is survived by the love of his life, Marisa Watkins White, whom he married on May 11, 2019. He is also survived by his mother, June W. Mansfield , (stepfather Wayland) Waynesboro VA, brother Larry White (Stefanie) Germany, sisters Melanee Reid Moon Township PA, Karen Pierce (Ronald) Waynesboro VA, and Vicki Pleasant (Thomas) Yorktown VA. He will be greatly missed by his 4 daughters Brittany, Dominique, Taylor and Kennedy; 3 stepsons: Jacob, Logan, and Carson; 6 Grandchildren: Kimberly, Ariyah, Carter, Kashmir, London and Karmello, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends.
He was an amazing Grandfather to his grandchildren and a devoted father to his girls. Friends and family enjoyed his theatrical storytelling. He loved dressing up as Batman and collecting DC/Marvel Characters. He was an avid Steeler fan and hanging out with his German Shephard, Apollo. He was so proud of his many accomplishments.
He looked forward to camping and fishing with his father when he was young. He wanted to be just like his father and become a pastor of a church. He always talked about preaching, teaching and leading people to Christ.
