Mr. Phillip Psomadakis, proprietor of the Covington Sandwich Shop, will leave Covington early Saturday morning for New York, where he will board a ship for an extended vacation in Europe.
Mr. Psomadakis will sail on the United State Line steamship Manhattan.
He expressed regret that he would not be able to extend a farewell to each and every one of his friends and customers.

Today’s Headline: 212 Members Signed For Country Club.
R.B. Stephenson Jr., chairman of the steering committee for the proposed country club, announced today that the minimum goal of 212 shares has been reached and the committee and other salesmen are fast approaching the maximum goal of 250 shares.
Mrs. John Deaton was hostess to the Rich Patch Home Demonstration Club in her home Thursday afternoon, July 6.

The CSX Corporation has no plans at this time to make any further reductions at its railroad operations in Clifton Forge, Don Tutko, vice president of the mechanics division of the CSX Corporation, said Tuesday.
