Please come and join us for National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 2nd, on the steps of City Hall in Covington at 12:00 noon, led by area pastors and guests. In case of rain, it will be held inside City Hall.
The National Day of Prayers was set by an Act of Congress when they set aside the first Thursday in May each year. Americans all over the country are called by a presidential announcement to pray for our nation’s safety, strength, and protection as one nation under God. with liberty and justice for all.
The theme this year is, “Lift up thy Word-Light up the World, 2 Samuel 22:29-31.” We rejoice in the knowledge that there will be millions of prayers prayed from tens of thousands of gatherings across America and around the world as we gather to pray on this day.
Pray that we will Love God and each other so much that we will agree clearly, unite visibly, and pray extraordinarily for the next Great Spiritual Awakening in America! Let’s join our hearts together in prayer for our nation, community, and loved ones on May 2nd this year. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to come and pray with us!
