A minister last night openly criticized Covington school officials for “cutting corners” in the newly-completed addition to Watson School and failing to consult Watson spokesmen before final plans were made.
Carl Gutshall and Paul Mauzy attended a retreat in Blackstone over the weekend.

Kimberly Renee Dilley was named Little Miss Queen of Hearts at the seventh annual pageant held Saturday at Covington High School’s Curfman Hall.
The Xi Rho Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi held its first April meeting at Olivers.

Covington radio station WKEY-WIQO is under new ownership.
WVJT LLC acquired the station last Friday.
A dedicatin ceremony was held Thursday afternoon on the campus of Boys’ home for the Von Canon Staff House.
