Suspect Identification Roanoke Officer Involved Shooting

David Adam McFall, 39, of Roanoke Va., was shot and killed by officers after shooting a Roanoke City Police officer on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023, at Melrose Towers on Melrose Ave, in the City of Roanoke.  

 

At the request of Chief of Police, Scott C. Booth the Virginia State Police, Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Salem Division is conducting the investigation into the Officer Involved Shooting (OIS).  Once the investigation is complete, the Virginia State Police will turn the findings and the evidence over to the City of Roanoke Commonwealth Attorney’s Office for review.

 

The Virginia State Police will have no further comments on this investigation.
