Warren and Teenie Kegley, representing B.A. Rupert Real Estate of Covington, were recognized as “Partners” for their part in contributing to “Bubbles, Bands and Brunch,” a fund-raising event hosted on October 8 by the Mountain Gateway Community College Educational Foundation. This was the first time in four years that the biannual event has been held; since 2003, “Bubbles” has raised more than $70,000 in scholarships for continuing students at MGCC. This year’s theme was “Stampede!” and many attendees dressed accordingly in Western attire. Mrs. Kegley also serves on the Board of the Educational Foundation.
