Dear Editor,

There will be an upcoming Spring Life Chain on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at 2:30 – 3:45 p.m. on the sidewalks at the traffic light at Walmart. For about some 15+ years, this has been a regular, twice yearly event, where those in our community, who believe unborn children should not be surgically dismembered and discarded, can come out and witness to this horrific practice in America.

Abortion practitioners employ assistants whose job it is to look at the remains of what was just aborted to insure all “contents” of the uterus were removed. The assistant must locate, in the aborted remains: two legs, two arms, a torso, one head. This is touted as a “Constitutional right to reproductive freedom” by the Democrat Party and by those who monetarily benefit from such an abomination, like the Planned Parenthood organization.

If you believe children should not be murdered in this fashion, as some 62,000,000 have been since January 22, 1973, please come and witness with us on Sunday April 3 at 2:30 p.m. All who participate will stand in silent prayer for a bit over an hour, while holding some sign (supplied) silently declaring some truth regarding the gift of life and sorrow of abortion. We pray for the conversion of heart of motorists who drive by.

The Life Chain is sponsored by the local Knights of Columbus Council #17457. If anyone has any questions about this or any Life Chain, please call my husband, John Stec, at 862-1917. Join us and bring others of like mind who are appalled at this legality: family, children, church members, pastors, friends. May God bless this effort in converting hearts. Rain date is April 10, same time & place, should bad weather occur. Hoping to see you there.

Maureen Stec
