CLIFTON FORGE – Betty Wallace Pendleton Kincaid, 64, of 601 Rose Street, Clifton Forge died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke.
She was born March 7, 1946 in Clifton Forge, to the late Luther Murray and Nellie May Nelson Pendleton.
She was a homemaker throughout her life and enjoyed crochet. She was a member of Living Stones Ministries.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Nelson Murray Pendleton in January of 2009.
She is survived by her husband George Franklin “Frank” Kincaid of Clifton Forge; a sister-in-law, Vivian Brooks Pendleton of Clifton Forge; a number of nieces and nephews, Deborah May Pendleton of Covington, Scarlet June Nicely and husband Todd of Selma, Leslie Brooks Warlitner and husband Greg of Covington, Stephen Dean Pendleton and wife Beverly of Eagle Rock, Eric Murray Pendleton and wife Sandra of Waynesboro, Vincent Ian Pendleton (Chief Petty Officer) of Norfolk, Samuel Nelson Pendleton of Clifton Forge, and Louis Davis Pendleton (Sgt.) of Clifton Forge.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with the Rev. Mike Rollins officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday afternoon, one hour prior to the service, at Nicely Funeral Home and other times at the residence of Steve and Beverly Pendleton, 623 Soldiers Retreat Road, Eagle Rock, Va.
The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Living Stones Ministries, 601 Gran-ville Avenue, Clifton Forge, Va. 24422.
