AHPS Launches Mentor Program to Guide Beginning Teachers

COVINGTON, VA (VR) – Alleghany Highlands Public Schools mentors gathered at the Central Office on Aug. 3 to welcome the division’s newest teachers during orientation and professional development. New this year, the school-level mentor program joins experienced teachers with beginning teachers, providing guidance, encouragement, and support throughout the school year.
