Performing Arts Season To Kick Off With Ice Cream Social

COVINGTON, VA (VR) — Covington Middle School and Alleghany High School band and choir students and their families are invited to kick off the new performing arts season with an ice cream social following the Labor Day Parade on Sept. 7.

The event will be held at Covington Middle School and will feature an ice cream bar, an opportunity to meet the band and choir directors, information about the boosters and ways families can get involved during the upcoming school year.

Raffles will also be held, with prizes available for both students and adults.

All CMS and AHS band and choir students and their families are encouraged to attend.
