VA250 Mobile Museum Welcomes Visitors At Casey Field

COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – The VA250 Mobile Museum will be open to the public Sept. 3-4 from 3:30 to 6 p.m. at Casey Field. Admission is free.

The hands-on, interactive and immersive museum, titled “Out of Many, One,” is housed in an expandable tractor-trailer traveling throughout Virginia and beyond as part of the commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the nation’s founding.

The mobile museum brings stories of Virginia’s history to schools, museums, fairs and community events, highlighting regions across the state. Since launching in January 2025, the two VA250 mobile museum units have welcomed more than 60,000 visitors.

Residents are encouraged to visit the museum and experience the interactive exhibits.
