WARM SPRINGS — These calls for service were made to the Bath County Sheriff’s Office the week of Aug. 2-8:
Aug. 2: Deputy Bryan IV checked on a report of a suspicious vehicle that was parked at Valley Elementary School.
Aug. 2: Deputy Bryan IV checked on a report of two individuals arguing at the parks and recreation building.
Aug. 2: Sgt. Smith responded to the Hot Springs area for a report of a reckless driver on a motorcycle.
Aug. 2: Sgt. Smith checked on a report of a tree laying across a power line in the Hot Springs area.
Aug. 2: Sgt. Smith responded to a local business for a small fender bender wreck.
Aug. 3: Deputy Altizer conducted a traffic stop on Caddis Lane in the Warm Springs area.
Aug. 3: Deputy Altizer checked on a report of shots being fired on Elks Camp Road in Millboro.
Aug. 3: Capt. Weaver and Emergency Services Coordinator Andy Seabolt assisted two people who got lost on a hike on Bear Loop Trail.
Aug. 4: Capt. Weaver and Sgt. Knick checked on a report of a reckless driver in the Millboro area.
Aug. 4: Deputy Altizer and Deputy Bryan IV arrested a subject for possession of methamphetamine.
Aug. 5: Deputy Rogers arrested a subject on making false application for public assistance, perjury and petit larceny.
Aug. 5: Deputy B. Smith checked on a report of loud noise at the Hidden Valley Campground.
Aug. 5: Sgt. Smith responded to the Hot Springs area for a noise complaint.
Aug. 6: Sgt. Smith conducted a well-being check on Spring Mountain Road in Warm Springs.
Aug. 6: Capt. Weaver checked on a report of a tree blocking the road on Rocky Ridge in Warm Springs.
Aug. 6: Deputy B. Smith checked on a report of a vehicle over the embankment on Richardson Gorge Road.
Aug. 7: Deputy D. Smith and Deputy Randozzo transported an inmate from Western State Hospital to the Alleghany Regional Jail.
Aug. 8: Deputy D. Smith responded to McGuffin Lane for a report of items stolen from a residence.
Aug. 8: Deputy D. Smith checked on a report of shots fired in the Carloover area of the county. An initial investigation found that people were target practicing.
Aug. 8: Lt. Grimm checked on a disabled vehicle on Muddy Run Road.
Aug. 8: Lt. Grimm, Sgt. Smith and Deputies Colaw, Bryan IV and McRoberts assisted Virginia State Police and Alleghany County deputies with a traffic pursuit that initiated in Alleghany County, came through Bath County and ended in Highland County.
