Dear Editor,
I am writing this letter in appreciation to all the police officers of Clifton Forge, Covington, and, of course, the Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office.
I?listen to the scanner all the time. I’m sure that the officers feel that they are fighting a losing battle.
Hopefully, I’m not the only person in the county that feels this way.
Hats off to all these officers, not only here, but everywhere.
Thanks to all the fire and rescue members, too.
