HOT SPRINGS — John Matthew Wilmore, 75, of The Springs Nursing Center, Hot Springs, and formerly of Iron Gate and Clifton Forge, died Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, at The Springs.
He was born Dec. 6, 1945, in Iron Gate, to Ernest Sorrells and Annie Bell Wilmore.
He is survived by a nephew, Clarence Wilmore Jr. and two nieces, Tammy Caldwell and husband Frankie and their child “Little Frankie” and May Wilmore, all of Clifton Forge; and an aunt, Nancy Wilmore.
A graveside funeral service was held Monday, Jan. 11, in Iron Gate Community Cemetery, Iron Gate with the Rev. Victor Nicely officiating.
