Deanne Cherie Smith “Dee Dee” Simpson, 37, of 2800 Rich Patch Road died Sunday, November 1, 2020.
Dee Dee was born March 2, 1983, in Alleghany County a Daughter of Judd and Carmen Stull Smith.
 Surviving in addition to her parents are her Daughter, Kaylyn “Belle” Simpson, and Belle’s father, Nathaniel Simpson;  her Sister, Judetta Marie Smith;  her Brother, Linwood Lee “Woody” Smith; her paternal Grandparents,  Carrol Lee and Doris Smith;  her maternal grandparents,  Sonny and  Charlotte Stull; seven aunts and uncles,  Robin Vokus,  Jeff Smith,  Linda Boggs,  Ivan Stull,  Myron Stull, Meade Stull  and  George Stull;  special nieces and  nephews  Sydney, Gracie, Riley and Sawyer  and a number of great uncles and great aunts.  
The family extends thanks to her special hospice nurse, Autumn Anderson, and the Cancer Richmond team.
She was a member of Rich Patch Union Church and was a former employee in the office of Tri County Furniture store in Covington.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, November 5, 2020, at 2:00 PM in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J. B. Broughman officiating assisted by Rev. Shane Hiner.
Interment will be made in the Smith Family Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Meade Stull, Jeff Smith, Mike Boggs, Danny Reeves,  Garland Humphries, Wes Walker, Ron Jenkins and Jared Gillespie.
The family will receive their friends Wednesday evening, November 4, 2020, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Arritt Funeral Home.
