A grief support session, sponsored by Mountain Regional Hospice, will be held this evening at 6 p.m. in the meeting room of First Christian Church’s Family Life Center in Covington.
Bill Gilliland, chaplain and grief counselor with hospice, will facilitate the session, and anyone going through the grief journey is invited to attend Tuesday evening.
“Because of continued restrictions and cautions dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, it is important for those planning to attend to call in advance so that we can make adequate preparations for safety of all. Attendees are asked to wear a mask and social distancing will be followed,” Gilliland said.
Please call 540-862-8820 or 540-958-0191 to register for the grief support session.
“We realize the pandemic has increased the effects of loss and grief over the last months. Hopefully our time together will offer some emotional relief,” Gilliland also said.
The Family Life Center of First Christian Church is located at 231 E. Fudge Street in Covington with plenty of parking in the rear.
