Dajor Davenport, an Alleghany High School graduate of the class of 2018 and a current graduate student at Concord University, was recently named to the Mountain East (MEC) All-Conference Football First Team.
Davenport, a standout for the Alleghany Mountaineers in high school, helped lead his Concord Mountain Lions football team to a 9-2 record in his final year of collegiate football.
In his final season, Davenport posted 32 total tackles, while also collecting 7.5 sacks, and also had a blocked field goal.
Davenport led the team in tackles for a loss (TFL) with 11. He was the only player on the Mountain Lions team with double digit TFL. The closest to Davenport were teammates Ty Maust and Rashon Lusane, whom each had 8.5 TFL.
