Andrea Ellen Shiflett, 38, of 1200 Cherokee Trail, died Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at her residence.
Mrs. Shiflett was born December 10, 1983, in Alleghany County a daughter of Victor Shinault and wife Tina and Tiney Rose and husband Ronnie.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Herman Thompson and Ruby Sellers Arrington; her paternal grandparents Raymond and Elizabeth Shinault; her aunt Evelyn Wilson; her uncle daddy as she called him James Shinault; and a special friend Merrell Witt.
She was a PCA for AmeriCares. She loved spending time with her little girl taking her eating and riding around with her and taking care of her niece and nephews. She loved animals and her family.
Surviving are in addition to her father and mother are her husband, Robert Shiflett; a daughter Olivia Shiflett; two sisters Mendi Ridley and Brook Nicely; three brothers Joshua Mongold, Jonathan Mongold, Victor Weaver; a brother and sister-in-law Jeffrey and Jacklyn Shiflett; nieces and nephews Grayson and Kaylee Ridley, Hunter Ryder, Izayah Shiflett, and Julius Shiflett; close friends Chris Haynes, Brandon Kelley, Dana Armentrout, and Donna Witt; stepgrandfather Thomas Arrington and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Robin Hall officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Arritt Funeral Home.
The interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The funeral arrangements are being handled by Arritt Funeral Home.
The family suggests memorial donations in Mrs. Shiflett’s name be made to the Alleghany Humane Society at 9313 Rich Patch Rd. Covington, Va. 24426.
