HOT SPRINGS – Clifford E. Brenner, 86, of 178 Klondike Drive, Warm Springs, passed away, Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at the Bath Community Hospital.
He was born November 28, 1924 in York, Pa., the son of the late Maurice Brenner and Mildred Nye Brenner.
He was married to Frances E. Brenner, his wife of 58 years, who preceded him in death on June 25, 2007.
Mr. Brenner was an electrician. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served proudly during WWII and was a recipient of the bronze star. He was a member of Virginia Chapel United Methodist Church where he was a member of the choir and the Praise and Worship Team; VFW Post 4204; member of the Bath County Wellness Center where enjoyed working out on a regular basis.
He is survived by two children, Allen Brenner of York, Pennsylvania and Cheri Wrights and husband Larry of Warm Springs; five grandchildren, Rick Wrights, Joshua Wrights, Angie Wrights, Christopher Brenner and Jennifer Brenner and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jay Brenner.
A funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m., Friday at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home with Byong Ahn and the Rev. Glenn Coleman.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m., Monday at Mount Rose Cemetery in York, Pa.
