CLIFTON FORGE, Va. (VR) - Despite extreme heat, crowds lined Main Street in Clifton Forge on Saturday, July 4, for the annual Stars and Stripes Parade. The parade featured Alleghany County Sheriff Kyle Moore, the Alleghany High School varsity cheerleaders, local fire and rescue units, the Alleghany Highlands VA250 float and numerous other entries as community members gathered to celebrate Independence Day.
