CLIFTON FORGE, Va. (VR) – A benefit golf tournament is scheduled for November 15 at Cliftondale Country Club to help two boys and their families following a tragic car accident that left both boys with severe injuries.

The tournament will follow a four-person captain’s choice format, with an entry fee of $35 per person. The start time will depend on frost conditions.

Both boys are being treated at separate hospitals and face a lengthy road to recovery. Proceeds from the tournament will go directly toward medical bills, living expenses and other costs associated with the accident.

With both families facing significant physical, emotional and financial challenges, organizers are encouraging the community to come together and support the families during this difficult time.

Those interested in participating or learning more can contact the Cliftondale Country Club clubhouse at 540-862-2081 or message Courtney Gunter on Facebook.
