ALLEGHANY COUNTY, VA (VR) – The Boys Home of Virginia is inviting the community to come together for a day of connection, discovery, and fun during its Community Day Open House on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Set on the organization’s scenic campus at 414 Boys Home Road, this year’s event promises to be the largest yet, with expanded activities, more attractions, and new opportunities for visitors to engage with the mission and daily life at Boys Home.

Guests will have the chance to meet students and staff, gaining a firsthand look at the supportive environment that defines the program. For families considering enrollment, admissions sessions will be available throughout the day, offering a chance to ask questions and learn more about educational and residential opportunities.

Campus tours will give attendees an inside look at residential homes, classrooms, and program spaces, helping visitors better understand how Boys Home supports the growth and development of its students.

The event isn’t all informational—there will also be plenty of opportunities for fun and relaxation. Food, inflatables, and games will be available throughout the day, making it a welcoming experience for individuals, families, church groups, community partners, and donors alike.

Organizers encourage everyone to attend, whether they are deeply familiar with Boys Home or simply curious about its work. Guests are welcome to arrive at any time during the event and stay as long as they like.

With something for everyone, Community Day Open House is shaping up to be a memorable celebration of community, connection, and opportunity.
