Localities Come Together to Honor First Responders

COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – A joint proclamation signed by local leaders recognizes September 11 as a day to honor first responders and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. First Responders Day, Virginia Police, Fire, and Rescue Services Memorial Day, and Day to Serve also encourage residents to recognize the contributions of those who serve their communities.
