For the fourth consecutive time in a row, sophomore Kiera Lowman has won the state title in Virginia. Smoking the competition, Lowman was the only female runner in the girls 3200-Meter Run who came in under 11 minutes, and with plenty of time to spare!
The state meet was held at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, on May 31 and June 1 last week. Lowman was among 4 other track members —not counting the relay teams— who competed individually during the 2-day event. Among those was senior Max Madsen who claimed second place in the long jump.
