AHPS Board Personnel Action

At the conclusion of the closed session on Monday, February 19, 2024 the School Board took the following personnel action:

The School Board approved the appointments of Desmond W. Taylor as Paraprofessional/SPED at Jeter-Watson Elementary School effective January 11, 2024; Melissa L. Tetreault was approved as Math Teacher at Alleghany High School effective July 1, 2024.

In Extra-Curricular activities, the School Board approved Andrew B. Humphries as Volunteer Boys Soccer Assistant Coach at Alleghany High School.

The School Board accepted the resignation of Tara F. Myers; Paraprofessional/SPED at Jeter-Watson Elementary School; Jerome G. Johnson; Boys Basketball Head Coach at Covington Middle School; Erin B. Hiser; Academic Advisor/Mental Health Counselor at Alleghany High School.

The School Board accepted the retirement of Paul E. Graham, Jr.; Electricity Instructor at Jackson River Technical Center effective June 30, 2024.
