PUBLIC HEARING
Covington City Council will conduct a Public Hearing pursuant to Sections 15.2-1427 (D), 15.2-2006, and 15.2-1800 of the Code of Virginia (1950, as amended) on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. to consider an intent to vacate the right-of- way and disposition of public property with regards to a boundary adjustment survey between Wrightway Motors located at 820 South Lexington Avenue, Covington, VA, and Dewey’s Automotive, LLC located at 609 West Chestnut Street, Covington, VA.

2) Redevelopment and Housing Authority-Karen Kessinger’s term expires on March 31, 2024. She requests reappointment.
3) Board of Zoning Appeals-To consider nomination of Stan Young, who will be filling the vacant seat of Robert Short, Sr.-term expiring September 30, 2025.
4) Economic Development Corporation-To consider an appointment to fill vacant seat of Kathy Cucci; term expires on June 30, 2026.
