Decision made on Attorney Jared Jenkin’s case in Rockbridge County today

Iron Gate Town Attorney Jared Jenkins defended himself against the Virginia State Bar during the January 17th hearing held in Rockbridge County Court. Jenkins faced multiple allegations of misconduct, but the judges decided that the bar had only met their burden of proof on two of them. Iron Gate mayor, Gary Craig, says Jenkins will be appealing them both and will continue to hold his position with the town as those appeals work themselves out. (Jennifer Bailey Photo)
