Kars Unlimited to Host Sixth Annual Appreciation Cook-Out

COVINGTON, VA (VR) – Kars Unlimited will host its 6th Annual Appreciation Cook-Out & Cruise-In on Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Jackson River Sports Complex. This year’s event will benefit Rex Selleck, a longtime supporter of Kars Unlimited.

The event is a celebration of the organization’s supporters, sponsors, and individuals who have helped Kars Unlimited grow while promoting a shared enthusiasm for vehicles, both old and new. Organizers say the group is grateful to everyone who has contributed to its mission of helping others in need.

Rather than keeping the proceeds from this year’s cruise-in, Selleck has requested that the money be donated to local cancer charities, making the event an opportunity to enjoy the car community while giving back to those in need.

Attendees can look forward to music, a Chinese auction, live auction, 50/50 drawing, baked goods, and plenty of cars. Kars Unlimited invites the community to come out, enjoy the afternoon, support a worthy cause, and help make the sixth annual event a success.
