CLIFTON FORGE — Dabney S. Lancaster Community College is offering several Virginia Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) courses this fall, with the classroom portion held on two Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., every month through December.
The next course is scheduled Sept. 12 and 19.
The CDL coursework includes 40 hours of training: 16 hours of classroom instruction, to be held in the back parking lot, next to McCarthy Hall, on the DSLCC main campus in Clifton Forge; 21 hours of behind-the-wheel training; and three hours designated for the final DMV Skills Exam.
The remaining classroom sessions, all on Saturdays: Oct. 10 and 17; Nov. 14 and 21; and Dec. 12 and 19.
