              Alleghany County announces closings for Thanksgiving Holiday

              The following offices will be closed on Thursday, November 23, 2023 and Friday, November 24, 2023 in observance of Thanksgiving:

              County Offices located in the Alleghany County Governmental Complex, 9212 Winterberry Avenue, Covington,

              These offices will reopen for business on Monday, November 27, 2023.

              The Island Ford Transfer Station will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, November 24th, but will be CLOSED on Saturday, November 25th.
