Veterans Day 2023 will be observed November 10th with state and federal offices closed. However, for the veterans, there is only day, the 11th month, the 11th day, the 11th hour to celebrate their comrades.
This year’s theme is SERVICE! There are so many men and women who, over the years, have given of themselves in the service of our great nation. There are no words that could adequately say “thank you” for the sacrifices made by so many. America is proud of who we are and what we stand for. We owe it all to these men and women being honored today.
Arlington National Cemetary begins its annual Veteran’s Day observance with the laying of the wreath on the Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier. I am sure this is a very emotional moment for all. Visiting the tomb is a heartwarming experience no matter the occasion. The red, white and blue is a reminder of all the veterans and their service to protect you and your family.
