FAIRLEA W.Va. (WVDN) – If you’re already missing the fun things summer has to offer, then the State Fair of West Virginia may have the event you’ve been looking for. The bi-annual flea market held on the fairgrounds is coming up on Sept. 15 and 16.
Always a popular event, it offers items ranging from antiques to brand-new products for shoppers to peruse. In the past, produce and seasonal items have been popular. Price ranges are also there to suit almost any budget so shoppers are going to want to get out there and enjoy the last giant flea market of the season. The next event will be in May for the Giant Spring Flea Market. Why not get an early start on holiday shopping or get that special birthday or anniversary gift? A unique item is always a good choice. The Giant Fall Flea Market provides the perfect opportunity for all of your shopping needs. Added to that shoppers will have a wonderful experience to add to the list of fun fall activities.
Food vendors will be on-site to keep hunger at bay and to allow for a longer, more enjoyable shopping experience. Dipping Dots, funnel cakes, pizza, corn dogs, Ben Ellen Donuts and the ever-popular cinnamon rolls are foods that have been found at previous events. Wondering what delicious food awaits hungry shoppers at the upcoming event? Come by and find out!
Parking is free and will be in the State Fair’s parking lot to allow for more shoppers to be able to attend.
