LEWISBURG (WVDN) — Country music start HARDY, is coming to the 98th annual State Fair of West Virginia. Here is some interesting information to get you hyped for his show on Aug. 13.

In the heart of country music, a new star is rising. Michael Hardy, known professionally as HARDY, is making waves in the industry with his unique blend of traditional country elements and modern lyrical storytelling.

Hardy first gained recognition in the industry as a songwriter, penning hits for some of country music’s biggest names, including Florida Georgia Line and Morgan Wallen. However, it wasn’t long before Hardy decided to step into the spotlight himself. In 2018, Hardy released his debut EP, “This Ole Boy,” which showcased his distinctive voice and songwriting prowess. The EP garnered positive reviews, with critics praising Hardy’s ability to weave intricate narratives with a country twang.

Hardy’s breakout moment came with the release of his 2020 album, “A Rock.” The album debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and produced the hit single “One Beer,” featuring Lauren Alaina and Devin Dawson. The song topped the Billboard Country Airplay chart and earned Hardy his first nomination for the CMA Awards.

Hardy’s music is characterized by its authentic storytelling, relatable lyrics, and a sound that pays homage to the roots of country while pushing its boundaries. His songs often depict the realities of rural life, from the joys of small-town living to the struggles of working-class people.

Despite his rapid rise to fame, Hardy remains grounded. He often speaks about the importance of his Mississippi roots and how they influence his music. “I’m just a country boy at heart,” Hardy said in a recent interview. “I write about what I know, and I try to stay true to that.” Hardy’s success is a testament to his talent, hard work, and dedication to his craft. As he continues to make his mark on the country music scene, one thing is clear: Hardy is a rising star with a bright future ahead.
