Matthew Howard

MILLBORO — Matthew Franklin Howard, 27, of Millboro, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020 in Alleghany County. 
He was born June 8, 1993,  in Alleghany County, the son of Stanford Howard of Millboro, and Tonya Marlene Keyser Howard & fiancé Steven Grose of Hot Springs, Virginia.
He was a handyman and worked at all types of carpentry work.
Matthew liked to hang out with his friends and have fun. He enjoyed going to the river, swimming and playing his game systems. 
He enjoyed taking his dog “Perky” for walks. 
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents he is survived by a brother, David Howard, of Millboro; a sister, Madison Grace Bennett, of Hot Springs, and special nieces Lakyn & Nevaeh Howard, whom he loved very much.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Lee Keyser.
A funeral service will be conducted at Calvary Baptist Church at a later date.
