AHPS will hold a celebration on Thursday, March 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Jackson River Technical Center to highlight the success of its Alleghany Highlands Healthcare Advancement Grant Program.
Join the Alleghany Highlands Healthcare Advancement (AHHA) Grant celebrate their accomplishments over the last two years! AHHA has created an educational pathway for students to graduate with an industry credential, as well as Health Science experiences to expand their knowledge and access to healthcare programs.

Advanced Healthcare Pathways Program – Partnership with Randolph Macon Physician Assistant Program
Advanced Healthcare Professionals Program – Seniors can attend MGCC to get certified in CNA, CMA and a certificate for Medical Terminology
Medical Laboratory Program through MGCC beginning 2024
Partnership with Radford University Carilion (part of the Blue Ridge Partnership for Health Science Careers) – Virtual sessions highlighting
Respiratory Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Nursing, EMT, Public Health, Radiology and Dental
