It added up to a great run for the Alleghany Highlands Youth Sports baseball and softball seasons that concluded last week.
“We want to thank all the parents, players, umpires, coaches and sponsors,” said A.J. Wolfe, president of AHYS.
“A special thanks to the parents,” he added. “When the kids were sick, they didn’t bring them. And luckily we didn’t have any (COVID-19) problems that we know of. Also, thanks to the city of Covington, the city manager and the parks and recreation department.
