Pansy Ann Wrenn, age 80, of 105 Wintergreen Ave, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Monday, December 21, 2020 at Sterling Care at South Mountain, Maryland.
Pansy was born November 14, 1940 in Clifton Forge, Virginia to the late Edgar Thomas and Nina Nicely Thomas.
She was a retired X-Ray technician having worked at the C&O hospital, Alleghany Regional and Sacred Heart Hospital in Maryland. She was a long time member of Central Advent Christian Church where she enjoyed teaching Sunday school, and enjoyed her garden and flowers.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her infant son, John Christopher.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald A. “Butch” Wrenn of Clifton Forge; a daughter, Tracy Webster and husband Jeff of Bluemont, Virginia; two sons, Gerald Wrenn Jr. and wife Jami of Winchester Virginia; Matt Wrenn and wife Cindy of Knoxville, Maryland; seven grandchildren, Karisa Wrenn, Ethan Wrenn, Colin Wrenn, Maci Wrenn, Madison Webster and Ryleigh Webster; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 11:00 AM in Central Advent Christian Cemetery, Clifton Forge with Reverend Gene Ayers officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Alleghany Humane Society, 9313 Rich Patch Rd. Covington, VA 24426.
Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, is handling arrangements.
