Moss Run Baptist Church and Pastor Frank Sizemore, Jr. wants to welcome everyone to a community Christmas Program on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at 4 pm at their church. A concert of Christmas music will be performed by Richard and Denise Kiser who make their home in Salem, Virginia, and tour in many states, including Branson, Missouri. Richard is a very gifted guitar player having recorded with country music stars such as Charlie McCoy. He recorded eleven CDs, has been awarded over seventy major awards, and has been inducted into three different Halls of Fame as a result of his music. Over the past few years in his ministry, Richard has been involved in speaking and sharing his music and testimony at special Wounded Warrior events and hunts. A veteran himself, he shares a passion for helping Veterans who suffer PTSD. Richard was the victim of being shot in a hunting accident and has a testamentary of how God brought him through the nightmare of PTSD. Also, he is now an ambassador for an organization called Guitars 4 vets. Denise, his wife, has been singing gospel music since her early teens and sang with her family’s gospel group. With her strong voice and presentation of music, she has been a blessing to many. Moss Run Church is located at 105 Moss Run Road which is about 7 miles south of Covington off Route 159. A freewill offering will be taken for the benefit of the Kisers.
